About Simply put, our philosophy for wedding planning is to honor it's sacred beginnings; to do everything with excellence; and to make it fun for the bride and groom. We make sure every detail is executed with YOU in mind!! Our approach to wedding planning begins with getting to know you. One of the ways we accomplish this is with our Sacred Moment Weddings Questionnaire. It gives us a starting point…a look into who you are as a couple and what you want on your wedding day. It will help us discover your personal style, and how we can incorporate your personalities into the wedding YOU want. Collectively, our staff and our vendor contacts have a wealth of wedding and event planning experience. We’ll all work together to create a wedding celebration that celebrates you and your hopes and desires for the future! Services -- A full-service wedding consultant will work with you from the beginning of your planning phase. We help you set a budget and create a theme, brainstorm ideas with you, then research and book the vendors who can make your wedding day spectacular. We’ll remind you of important planning and payment deadlines. Occasionally, you'll meet with us or we’ll chat over the phone to take care of planning or etiquette concerns as they pop up, so you're always on top of things. As the wedding approaches, we reconfirm your arrangements, troubleshoot any problems or obstacles, and finalize your vision into a final plan. At the rehearsal and on the wedding day, we ensure that your instructions are followed to the letter. Finally, we supervise the cleanup and closing of the site. All you do is enjoy. -- Wedding day coordination or "Day Of" Wedding Consulting is where you've planned your entire wedding, but want someone else in charge as the day approaches. In this format, you go over any outstanding planning concerns with your consultant and tie up your loose ends beginning 4-6 weeks before the wedding. We then reconfirm with all of your vendors, create an event itinerary, and then carefully oversee the details at the rehearsal and wedding. We may also provide additional services such as setup or tear down labor, depending on your needs. "Where do you want me to put these linens?" "Is this the table for the cake?" "Where should the band set up?" --these questions and more will invariably be asked on the day of your wedding. Your wedding coordinator will have your event plan in hand and handle these details for you, giving you more time to relax and get ready with your wedding party, and more time for you and your family to enjoy the day. -- One-time or occasional consulting is where you meet with a consultant for a fixed number of meetings to accomplish specific tasks. The consultant does not go to the wedding. Some examples are: Jennifer (Aug 2005) needed to know how to allocate her budget to the different vendors needed for her wedding. She had never planned a party of this size and needed to know what a florist, photographer, caterer, etc. would normally cost. Michael and Cheri (Oct 2004) wanted to get the names of three caterers with good references within their budget, who could handle West Indian cuisine for 130 people, for their engagement party. We can also put together a package customized JUST FOR YOU! |
